In this engaging Minecraft themed math class students will learn to recognize the numbers one through ten by counting creepers, ocelot's and more! They will learn that each number represents something and what that means. They will practice writing the numbers and finding missing numbers in a pattern. Students will be provided with printouts to follow along but will also have opportunity to use touch screen, if they have that available, to circle and match on the slides. This class will be conducted in a warm, fun, and interactive setting allowing the students to learn along with their peers. Please note, Minecraft will not be played in this class. This class is Minecraft themed only.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
