In this class we will review third grade math standards and prepare students for math in fourth grade. Every day we will review basic multiplication facts and division facts with songs, skip counting, and new tricks. We will review place value, which they will see again in fourth and fifth grade. Review addition and subtraction strategies. I will introduce the standard algorithm, which will be a preview for fourth grade. Telling time and finding elapsed time will be a skill we will work on.

I have worked with students with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, OHI, and intellectual disabilities. I am Proficient at using positive reinforcement teaching techniques to encourage student behavior and growth. I am a Licensed teacher in Georgia, with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, reading endorsement, and Special Education certificate. I am trained in several reading programs including Orton gillingham strategies. Additionally, I am a mother of 3, a huge Atlanta Braves fan, and enjoy traveling.
