数学 - 初等代数 第一学期 (3 日間) 認定教師による

In this semester class, I will walk students through the skills needed to understand and confidently answer problems in Pre-Algebra. I will demonstrate the steps needed to solve the problem and have the students watch. Then the students will work through several problems with me and be encouraged to talk me through solving the problems. After this, students will be able to do our last few problems of the class on their own using the steps we've practiced. 

As students get stuck or held up on a problem, we will use it as a time to encourage them and help them figure out the next step to solve. 

Worksheets will be provided for students to work on following classes but not required to complete.  


- Week 1 (September 2) : Order of Operations, Distributive Property
- Week 2 (September 9): Expressions, Equations
- Week 3 (September 16): Equations/Inequalities
- Week 4 (September 23): Inequalities/Integers
- Week 5 (September 30): Inequalities 
- Week 6 (October 7) : Exponents
- Week 7 (October 14) : Exponents/Scientific Notation
- Week 8 (October 21): Rational Numbers 
- Week 9 (October 28): Rational Numbers
- Week 10 (November 4):  Slope
- Week 11 (November 11):  Slope
- Week 12 (November 18): Speed, Time, Distance
- Week 13 (November 25: Speed, Time, Distance
- Week 14 (December 2):Transformations
- Week 15 (December 9): Transformations
- Week 16 (December 16): Equation Review
- Week 17 (December 23): One class this week to work on Scale Drawings
