Are you looking for a way to keep your student's mind and body active at the same time? Well then this is the class for them! Each week students will participate in a movement activity based on their favorite characters all while we integrate addition and subtraction problems into the activity. During the activity, we will take 2 minute movement breaks and this is where the story will lead to a math problem (Add how many rings Sonic earned this last level, subtract how many coins Mario lost while facing Bowser, etc). Coach Joe will show the problem and students (if they choose) will type their answer into the Zoom chat. We will then review the answer as a group. After the 2 minute "math break" we will get back into the movement. During the classes there will be 5-6 problems for students to solve. Students will keep their own score of how many of the math problems they get correct. During this class we are looking to have fun and find exciting ways to integrate math. 

Please note: The addition and subtraction problems will be a mix of single digit and double digit problems. This is great for students who are looking for a review and to practice their skills or students that are looking to learn how to do addition and subtraction.
