Students will gain knowledge of the 5 paragraph  essay including brainstorming a topic, outlining, researching, writing, editing / revising on a topic that requires evidence to prove a point.  Teaching of thesis statement will be an important part of the class.

Students will be required to type their essays on a program that can be sent to the teacher such as Google.docs.

HW for each section will be to complete the daily required work, such as;

For  Day 2: Researching  the topic and completing brainstorming. Completion of thesis statement, outline and brainstorming
For Day 3:  Completing opening paragraph, 2, 3 whatever is not completed in class.
Day 3: learner's will complete paragraph 4 and  conclusion paragraph during class and leader edit and revise with the teacher during that time or at a time set up for afterwards
