This class will focus on what significant figures are and how to use them in science classes.

I like to start my classes with a warm up. After the warm up, I typically review the agenda so that students are aware of what to expect during the course. The lesson follows the agenda. The lesson is typically broken into various parts that include short periods of lecture (me explaining important ideas), videos, interactive activities, and formative assessments that will allow me to gauge student comprehension and interest. I like to end my classes with a quick exit ticket. 

I will teach the class using a variety of methods including, short lectures, videos, interactive activities, modeling, and formative assessments. There will be plenty of opportunities for students to engage in practice problems. 

Students will have plenty of opportunities to engage with me during the live lesson.
