Jeopardy Jackpot is a custom made interactive game for learners within the 1st and 2nd grade levels of education. It is, of course, inspired by the long time running television game show; however, the rules are not as strict. Learners will compete against each other to answer trivia questions and use their addition and subtraction skills to be the highest scoring and top earning contestant. All children need to learn foundational math concepts, but let's face it . . . they'd rather be playing games with their friends. This math game activity will encourage them to do both! <<< DISCLAIMER >>> This math game is not designed to teach addition or subtraction. Students should already be somewhat familiar with each of the math concepts mentioned. This math game is a highly interactive and very competitive activity. The learners will have a chance to compete against each other (or the instructor) as they play. Not all students will win. Learners should be able to exhibit good sportsmanship regardless if they win or lose.
In this game the materials will be presented to the learners via an interactive Canva or Google slideshow presentation (shared on the teacher's device, only). No external links will be clicked. No additional websites will be visited. No additional logins are necessary for the learners.
受講に必要なもの
Sometimes enrolled learners choose to have scratch paper on side of them to help think through the process. Writing isn't necessary for solving all of the challenges; however, having a couple sheets of scratch paper can be helpful for visualizing and jotting down notes.
