5-10 sheets of paper for practice (Printer paper or any other smooth paper is fine.)
Black Watercolor Paint (Prang watercolor paint trays work very well. You can use ink if you have it, but it's definitely not necessary.)
Round Paint Brush - medium size, with a pointy tip  (A variety of sizes can be helpful, but it is not necessary.)
Water cup, paper towels, or napkins
1-3 sheets of large smooth drawing paper for final paintings during our second class (11 x 14 inches or larger is best.  NOT watercolor paper - smooth paper is needed.)
