Class will meet for 35 minutes each week to discuss MCU, homework, and formatting for articles including backlinks, adding images, and tags. Google Docs anonymous links will be provided for assignments.
Class 1: covers the layout of the class, what is expected, and how to pitch articles. We will also cover the MCU with news of upcoming films/series as well as already existing series/films and characters.
Homework: pitch an article idea about anything MCU in a private Outschool...Students will learn writing a new style that includes different rules than academic writing.
I have been teaching film analysis since 2019 on Outschool. I have also worked as an independent contractor for CBR, Entertainment Weekly, and various other websites.
