The diversity of aquatic and semi-aquatic creatures is incredible. From the quick colour changing abilities of the cuttlefish to the long migration patterns of the leatherback sea turtle, these creatures are ready to shock you (sometimes literally!) with their skills. Two aquatic (or semi-aquatic) animals take the spotlight in each of these weekly, fact-filled lessons. The animals will include a variety of invertebrates, mammals, fish, reptiles, and seabirds. There are twenty-two classes of two creatures each before the sessions repeat. *Each class is independent from each other. Therefore, students can drop in at any time. If a student comes in during the middle of a session, it's no problem! The sessions will eventually repeat and they can continue through the loop until they are back to the first class they took. This class will be more of a lecture style (yet interactive) class with a PowerPoint, photos, videos, and fascinating facts. We will have conversations about these creatures and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss (although are also welcome to just absorb the information if they prefer). At the end of each class, we will play a short trivia game about what we’ve learned. Participation in the game is optional and students are welcome to watch or answer privately. Being a scuba diver, avid traveler, and having worked with many animals (including marine animals), I will also be using personal experiences within the content when I can! Animals by Week: Week One - Sea Stars and Orcas ➡️ Week Two - Leafy Seadragons and Emperor Penguins Week Three - Manta Rays and Nile Crocodiles Week Four - Octopuses and Elephant Seals Week Five - Pelicans and Pufferfish Week Six - Tiger Sharks and Japanese Spider Crabs Week Seven - Otters and Cuttlefish Week Eight - Leatherback Sea Turtles and Electric Eels Week Nine - Manatees and Thresher Sharks Week Ten - Blue Whales and Frigatebirds Week Eleven - Walruses and Platypuses Week Twelve - Spinner Dolphins and Horseshoe Crabs Week Thirteen - Coral and Zebra Sharks Week Fourteen - Stingrays and Ocean Sunfish Week Fifteen - Piranhas and Polar Bears Week Sixteen - Beluga Whale and Peacock Mantis Shrimp Week Seventeen - Sea Snakes and Flying Fish Week Eighteen - Giant Squids and Chimaeras Week Nineteen - Gharials and Whale Sharks Week Twenty - Moray Eels and Bobbitworms Week Twenty-One - Axolotls and Great Cormorants Week Twenty-Two - Reef Triggerfish and Stonefish (The ➡️ indicates where we currently are in the cycle for the Tuesday 8:00pmEST class) (This updates by end of day each Saturday EST) Course Photo Credit - 12019 of Pixabay

教師の専門知識と資格
I have a strong passion for animals and have even worked in a large aquarium with creatures such as stingrays, jellyfish and many fish species. I love getting others excited about the animal kingdom and feel as though I can approach this topic with a lot of fun and excitement for the learners.
