Have you ever made a watercolor painting without a paintbrush? Now is your chance to make beautiful marbled watercolor valentines for someone you care about, no paintbrush needed! This class is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in exploring the marbled watercolor technique. You may even be able to find most of the materials needed around your home! In this one-time class, I will demonstrate how to create the marbled watercolor look step by step. I believe that learning should be fun and allow learners to be creative! I like to offer choices to my students, so I will include a printable with several different Valentine's Day messages in case your learner would like to cut out and glue them on their cards. I hope to see your learner in my class soon!

Parents may provide assistance to their learner if needed, but please remain off screen.

受講に必要なもの

-Cardstock or watercolor paper (Regular copy paper is too thin and will not work as well. Cardstock is sold at craft stores for around 50 cents a sheet, or available as a pack for a few dollars)
-Shaving cream (Cream, not the gel. I got mine from the dollar store.)
-Liquid watercolor (Can be found on Amazon or a craft store) or liquid food coloring
-Dropper (If your watercolor/food coloring does not have a squeeze bottle and small hole at the top.)
-Skewer or chopstick
-Cookie Sheet (I use a disposable one from the dollar store.)
-Expired credit card, gift card, ruler or similar stiff object for scraping excess
-Paper towels for easy cleanup
-Sample messages printable (posted before class starts)
-Scissors
-Glue
-Any crayons, markers, colored pencils, or pen your learner would like to use

Hello, my name is Miss Blakeley and I live in sunny Arizona, USA!  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development with an emphasis of Early Childhood Education. I have taught young children in a preschool, kindergarten for children with autism, and an English school in Costa Rica. I have been given some fun nicknames by my students, including Teacher Barbie, Miss Sparkly, and Miss Bakery! I have been teaching English online since 2018 and I absolutely love it! My classes combine my experience teaching 4-6 year olds, and my passion for sweet treats, art, and pretend play. I believe that learning should be play-based and fun! I use Nearpod for most of my classes to provide interactive lessons with games and activities. I like to offer choices and rewards to my students, my personal favorite is pretend ice cream!  When I am not teaching, I enjoy exercise, traveling, being outdoors, and cooking with my air fryer. I currently live with my best friends from college and have a gray pet bunny with one white paw. I hope to see your learner in my classroom soon!
