The unique approach to spelling instruction in this course helps learners build the essential knowledge for being a fluent and accurate reader and writer. The lessons teach homophones, spelling changes, prefixes, suffixes, complex spelling patterns, new vocabulary and word usage that most third grade curriculums cover. Each Making Words activity contains rhyming words which help learners review the more complex vowel patterns. This unique approach allows learners at all levels within 3rd grade to make progress in their spelling, decoding, and vocabulary skills.

All classes are designed and created by me, Kelly Hall, owner and founder of Leaves of Learning Academy. Our teachers go through rigorous training to assure that all classes are taught to the same level of quality no matter which one of our teachers is teaching it! I have strict hiring standards and strive to only hire teachers I would feel comfortable teaching my own children on Outschool.
