In this one hour course, the learner will explore several science experiments. The learner will make predictions and have discussions around what will happen. Next, they will participate in the experiment and have discussion around what happens. Lastly, they will review the "what ifs". This will increase their critical thinking skills. The lesson will be taught with discussion and hands-on activities. Learners will have time to discuss and explore ideas with each other. No previous knowledge is need for this course.

I will teach a variety of courses around reading/comprehension, higher order thinking skills, social-emotional learning, and race, justice, and equity, along with leadership skill development. I believe every student can learn and can be successful. I believe in teaching the whole student so focus is on academics, social-emotional learning, and how to be the best version of themselves.
