Welcome to Book of Scarlet Secrets: Da Vinci's Final Code~ 

Your mission is to collect 10 ancient artifacts. You will find them in various locations around the world. Each artifact is important, as each one contains a secret compartment with a vital ingredient you will need to create a special elixir. The last page in the Book of Scarlet Secrets contains a Final Code, hand written using invisible ink. Therefore, in order to read it, you must use the counter elixir, "Queste del Saint Graal.”

This game will feature a collection of rooms themed from both past and present, including: Ancient China, Egypt, Mayans, Atlantis, and various history museums, including a Dinosaur themed one. The game will require learners to work with their team and unlock locations and artifacts throughout the game until they unlock the final room, which is Da Vinci's Workshop. They will assemble the artifacts and attempt to reveal the final page. 

The puzzles are themed for each room, and will include ciphers, reading comprehension questions, riddles, basic math and geometry. Learners will not need to have any background in Dan Brown's book, or Da Vini's life or works. Students will start the game with a brief introduction in Da Vinci's biography for context into his life and inventions. Therefore, this course would work to supplement lessons on the Renaissance period, art history, or world history.
