Splash Queen is ready for the beach and cannot be any cuter! We will start the class with each student given an opportunity to show and tell about one of their own LOL dolls. Next, we will learn some facts about Splash Queen in my special LOL Secret Handbook. Then, we will draw her together in a step by step, interactive, directed drawing lesson. Finally, we will start coloring Splash Queen together while listening to some fun beachy songs. Hello Parents and Students!
My name is Lori Costa and I have been an elementary school teacher for over 24 years. In addition, I have been teaching online for three years with private, small group, and large group classes. I specialize in teaching phonics, reading, writing, and art.
I have my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Children and the Arts. I also have my Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD emphasis.
I have three amazing kids of my own, who range in age from 10 to 19. My husband and I love to travel with our kids and make fun memories together. Trips to the beach are my favorite!
I plan to teach a variety of lessons that incorporate music, movement, art, reading and writing to reach all types of learners.
