Join us in this interactive class as we read, sing and dance in discovery of one of the treasured stories of Little House on the Prairie, Dance at Grandpa's, a My First Little House Book written by Laura Ingalls Wilder! We will read through the story of Laura's family gathering at Grandpa's house for a special get together, discussing the similarities & differences between gatherings in the pioneer times and the gatherings of today. We will also learn a classic pioneer song, Oh Susanna, and a dance to go along with the song! We look forward to a "reel-ly" great time together!

I am an early childhood teacher who has taught ten years in the classroom, Pre-Kindergarten thru 3rd grade, and many, many more years supporting various school-type programs in our community. I teach (and live) by the philosophy, "Learn to Play, Play to Learn!" I enjoy enriching story time with song, dance, crafts & activities and enjoy putting magic and joy into each of my lessons!
