リテラシー リフトオフ: 読解力を高めましょう (1 年生と 2 年生)

Students will gain valuable knowledge and strategies to enhance their reading skills. In this course, students will explore key topics such as word families, phonics rules, vocabulary building, and some reading strategies. I will incorporate engaging games to reinforce the concepts being taught, helping students retain and apply what they've learned in practical ways. If time permits, I will cover multiple topics in each class to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. My teaching methods include a combination of lectures, interactive games, drill and practice, videos, demonstrations, and cross-curricular activities, creating a dynamic and comprehensive approach to learning. 

In the first few months, we will focus on learning word families, covering two each week. We will also review the material in every class to reinforce our understanding. Once we’ve mastered word families, we will transition to phonics rules, learning one rule each week. Additionally, we will expand our vocabulary by introducing three new words each week.
