What will be Taught: Each week we will read a different book that will go along with the theme of the month. We will discuss the book and answer questions. We will also go over some common book material such as; What is an Author?, What does an illustrator do?, the definition of a fiction book, etc. Class Structure: We will begin class with a fun question of the day. After that I will talk about a library concept that goes along with the book we are reading (during this time students will be asked to make predictions about the book). After that I will read the book for the day and ask questions throughout and at the end. At the end of the book we will discuss the book. I will then go over the activities that I have made available to the parents and students can choose which activity they would like to do. They will do that activity either on the zoom or they may choose to get off the zoom and do at a later time. I will be allowing 30 minutes of my schedule for the class. The class will be listed for 20 minutes, but again I will stay on for 30 minutes. Reading Level* Some books chosen have a 1 AR rating meaning they are suitable for those in 1st grade. The books that I have chosen are suitable for those in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I will have a variety of activities for learners to choose from so they can choose what best suits them. All activities will be posted in the classroom. This may require help on the computer or a printer to print out the worksheets. Activities can come in the form of worksheets posted in google drive, on google docs, or on google slides. Again will posted in the classroom for your access.
Students may need supervision with the activity when using basic art supplies. Such as scissors and glue. I will go over how to properly use them if they are needed for an activity.

受講に必要なもの
colored pencils/crayons/markers scissors glue sticks *any other supplies that is needed will be posted in the classroom. Mostly just basic art supplies or things that can be found around the house.
