Are you searching for a safe space for you LGBTQ+ child? Then look no further! This club is designed for young kids who are just discovering who they are and may not have other kids in their area to connect with. As an Allie with a young daughter in the community, I'm striving to create safe and fun spaces for our babies. Discussions we will have every class: ✅ Mental health check-ins ✅ Introductions if your child chooses to ✅ A brief overview of LGBTQ history and what this class is about ✅ Pronouns Open discussions: 🏳️🌈 LGBTQ+ conversations lead by students 🏳️⚧️ General conversations about hobbies and interests This club will not solely focus on LGBTQ topics, this is a place for this community to just hangout and be themselves. We’ll hangout, talk about their interests and play games. I give the kids the opportunity to lead the class while I observe and maintain order. However, if they seem to be stuck and aren’t able to figure out what to talk about then I’ll step in to provide guidance. ❌ Absolutely no hate Hate will not be tolerated in this class. Your child will be removed if any type abusive behavior is exhibited. At this time, I am only accepting students who are apart of this community. No ally’s at this time. I want to give students a chance to be around others like themselves.

Although we will be talking about non-LGBTQ+ topics, we will also be talking about it as your learner feels comfortable to do so. There may be discussions of crushes and “types” they like but any conversations that are too mature will be politely shut down.

Hi! I’m Mercedes from Texas, I have two little girls and we’ve been homeschooling for 3 years.
I was a substitute teacher for a couple of years then spent several years in training management. I became self employed so that I could focus on not only my own kids education, but your kids education as well. I recently started a company that is geared towards homeschooling families and I can't wait to bring so many resources and cool products to all of you.
Hobbies: Writing fictional stories, reading, video games, collecting minis and learning new things!
My Teaching style: My goal is to pivot away from traditional learning and create an environment that is more conducive to the learning and development of each child. As we know, everybody doesn't learn the same. Some may prefer early morning learning while others may prefer to began after lunch which is why I'll be offering full curriculum as a flex class. I always wanted to be a teacher but realized while studying education that being in a traditional classroom was not where I wanted to be. My oldest was 3 years old when the pandemic hit and that's when I realized that I still wanted to teach but just in a less "conventional" way.
When you make learning fun and interactive, I believe a child can learn anything at any age.レビュー
