Welcome to this writing class! In this class, your student will write two or three thank you cards! Please bring paper to class; students will fold it in half to make the cards!  Please also bring pencils, crayons, or markers!

First, your student may describe their holiday gifts! Next, students will think of great words to use to write about them! I will type their ideas to assist with spelling and students may copy this!  After they write their message inside the card, they will draw a picture to go outside of it! 

An example of the beginning of a card is: "Dear family, Thank you so much for the thoughtful gift!" An example of a picture that could go on the outside of the card is a lovely Christmas tree! I hope your family members enjoy receiving these personalized cards!
