Building confidence in the basics of speaking a foreign language is extremely important, and that is what I will be doing through this class.

Let's Start Speaking Italian is a series of classes that include learning the basics to start speaking some Italian by focusing on grammar. This specific class includes a focus on

Week 1: Learn a list of 20 -are verbs
Week 2: Learn a list of 13 -ere verbs and 8 -ire verbs
Week 3: Learn some prepositions (such as di, a, da, con, per, sopra, sotto, etc.)
Week 4: Learn the 7 ways of contractions for combining preposition + the word "the"
Week 5: Review and learn 6 -ire/-isc- verbs

Each day we will try to do a 10 minute conversation in Italian.

*Each time, we will review the information from the last lesson.
*Students will at times be given a PDF, worksheets, etc. (Homework is optional)

This course is part of a series, preparing students to start speaking more in Italian.
