Students will learn to discuss greetings, numbers, alphabet, the date, weather, likes, dislikes, hobbies etc. We will create silly stories, ask and answer questions, and play games all in Spanish. I will teach in Spanish with tons of pictures, gestures and some English when necessary. Vocabulary and written notes will be given as homework. My style of teaching involves comprehensible input. Students will be able to understand questions in Spanish consisting of up to 5 words. Students will be able to respond to Spanish questions with one word with vocabulary help. Students will be able to use sentence frames to respond to questions in Spanish with up to 5 words. Students will practice up to 10 new vocabulary words each session.
