****LEARNERS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CHROME MUSIC LAB PRIOR TO MEETING. YOU ARE WELCOME TO TAKE MY ONE-TIME INTRO COURSE OR MY FLEX VERSION FIRST BEFORE JOINING THIS CLUB.****

For this ongoing club, we will be experimenting and exploring how to write different songs and getting creative with Chrome Music Lab. This is a great opportunity for learners who may be working on a Chrome Music Lab project for school, or experiment with different tasks on Chrome Music Lab. If there is a learner who has a particular project for school, make sure to message the teacher (Ms. Kelsey) before class begins on going over how to write the music via Chrome Music Lab. If approved, we will go over the song as a group on how to write it. 

This is also a fun opportunity for learners to meet others who love to play around with Chrome Music Lab as well. There may be instances where music theory concepts will be taught during our meetings together (pitches, rhythm, tempo, timbre, etc.) if learners are organically wanting to know the mechanics of Chrome Music Lab. However, if learners are wanting to do different tasks and have fun during the meetings, that is also fine. 

There may also be an opportunity for the group (per section) to work collaboratively on a project on Chrome Music Lab together. 

Make sure that learners are able to easily access Chrome Music Labs on their respective devices during class, and are able to use the chat box to send in their work during our time together so that the teacher (Ms. Kelsey) can share with the others in the group (for task activities). It is recommended that they are able to use Chrome Music Lab on a computer/laptop instead of a tablet because of ease of writing music during class together. 

Week 1 (Starting the week of April 4th)- introductions, use Chrome Music Lab task cards to experiment writing different types of songs. Recommend song to write for next meeting

Week 2 (Week of April 11th)- Choose a warm-up task card, write a suggested song from a friend. Recommend another song for next time. If no suggestion, we will choose to write, "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from Encanto.

Week 3 (Week of April 18th)-Choose a warm-up task card, write song recommended by a friend. If no suggestion, we will write "Surface Pressure" from Encanto. 

Week 4 (Week of April 25th)- Choose a warm-up task card, write song recommended by a friend. If no suggestion, we will write "Family Madrigal" from Encanto. 

**If we run out of time and do not complete a song, we will finish up the song during the next meeting.
