When you're an aspiring painter, it's important that you know how to make any color that you can imagine. While the color wheel can help with that, understanding the fundamentals of black and white paints is important, too! That's what this class aims to cover. Art is a lifelong passion, and my journey with art started in middle school. I have worked in many different media, but my favorites are sketching, drawing, and photography. I’ve been keeping sketchbooks for nearly 20 years, and they’ve helped me document my journey with art, as well as important milestones in my life. I want to help learners find their artistic passion and help them do the same.
Learners will need the following to participate in this class: - A pencil - A jar or mug of water - A paintbrush no larger than 1/2" - Titanium White and Mars Black acrylic paint, as well as a color of the learner's choice (if you have trouble finding these, message me - I'd be more than happy to help) - A palette - A heavyweight paper pad, or a canvas pad
