フォニックスを学ぼう: 秋! (幼稚園 / 幼稚園 / レベル 1)

In this class, learners will enjoy a fantastic autumn sounds phonics game where children will have to use their listening skills to identify sounds in the environment. 

Level/phase 1 phonics is usually introduced in nursery / pre-school but the skills will carry through the first few years of school. Children will develop their listening and communication skills, including vocabulary, to prepare them for reading and writing.  

Class will begin with introductions. We will then jump into the game and then a colorful and engaging PowerPoint presentation where students will be introduced to the initial sounds of autumn related objects using visuals. This will involve a lot of student interaction through speaking, repetition and voice variation. Learners are welcome to share their fall items too, e.g. conkers, leaves etc

Once we have practiced hearing and saying the initial sounds of these objects then I will be incorporating a wonderful, hands-on activity providing an opportunity for the learners to be creative while using their fine motor skills. 

Learners are encouraged to interact throughout the class. The purpose of this class is to make learning fun, in a relaxed and creative atmosphere so that the learners can be comfortable while learning essential early listening and communication skills. We will also make time for brain breaks! 

Learners will have access to supporting documents and activities for no additional cost. This material will assist the learners with the learning objectives before and after class. 

Learners will need to come prepared with their own markers / paints / bingo dappers or coloured pencils and be ready to have fun!

~ All of my resources are written in British English as I live in the UK. Please note that British English is slightly different than American English. E.g., The spelling may differ: colour / color and organise/organize.
