Students will improve their financial literacy by reading, journaling, and practicing principles each week. We will discuss areas of improvement and how they can improve their financial situations.

I worked in the financial industry for 5 years and I have been mastering my own finances with the help of multiple personal finance books. I am on track to be debt free by 30 (yay!). After working in banking, I realized that I was very limited in terms of the amount of help I could give people. While I could do basic transactions for my clients, the company I worked for did not allow me to give basic financial advance to my customers such as budgeting and saving.
