During this 30 minute class, students will have fun participating in some interactive camping activities together.  Students are welcome to join us from inside a tent or fort if they choose to. They can bring a flashlight along for some fun too! (tents/forts and flashlights are not required for class, but will add to the feeling of “ real camping”)  We will begin by discussing what we know and like about camping.  If your child doesn't have any prior experience or knowledge of camping, it's perfectly fine!  We will all learn more information together in class!  Then I will read a story about camping.  Students will learn a few common constellations and we will make them together.(see supply list below-parent support may be needed for younger learners)  Students can bring along their favorite camping treat (such as s'mores) while we learn together and discuss what we love about the great outdoors!
