This class is a camp version of my one time "Let's Draw Together- Kawaii Woodland Animals" class. In this class students will learn how to draw four woodland animals in the Kawaii art style. I will briefly introduce students the differences between cartoon/Kawaii style art and realistic art, and help students identify important characteristics of Kawaii art. For each day of the camp we will focus on one specific woodland animal. Students will be able to participate in a guided drawing, as well as learn fun facts about the animal focus for that day. If there is time remaining during class students will be encouraged to color their artwork, but they may not have enough time to finish coloring during class, and will be encouraged to finish it after our class. The following schedule outlines what animal we will be drawing during our camp: Day 1: Bear Day 2: Raccoon Day 3: Deer Day 4: Fox As a BONUS students will receive a step by step guide to draw a surprise fall animal to complete after our final class.

Students will need a piece of paper will a good pencil and an eraser. Students will need color tools as well, preferably a black marker, and brown/grey/black/orange colored pencils or crayons.

I love all aspects of being a teacher but my favorite is watching my students gain confidence and independence in class. In my free time, I freelance as a photographer, a graphic designer, and shoe designer. Yes, I designed and sold custom patterned shoes!
