Today's course will begin with a brief introduction of myself and each learner. I will explain what shadows are and their importance in a drawing or image. We will run through some practice techniques that they can use on their own outside of class! Lastly, I will give step-by-step guidance on how to draw a three-dimensional sphere, a beginner friendly shape! I hope to meet everyone and have a fun time!

Hello and Welcome! My name is Paige and I love doing art, and being able to share my passion with others makes me even more thrilled to be here! 

I have an Associate in English and a BA in Fine Art. I have been working with businesses as well as doing personal commissions for a little over 3 years now. Like the infamous Bob Ross, I believe everyone can paint if they practice and, most importantly, find joy in it. 

My classes are upbeat and fun, and we learn about animals and Pokémon together while getting to make memories and build skills with painting. I want to be able to build communication skills in artistic ways like being able to break down and describe objects or scenery, expressing and critiquing art politely and helpfully, and much more as we go along!

Some fun facts about myself are that I love reading and writing, painting, and especially animals, and I have a Leopard Gecko, turtle, scorpion, spider, and Betta fish that I would love to share with the class too, as well as any other crawlers I find while out and about. My bug-catching kit is ready and with me at all times!
