That's why our observation skills, or the ability to identify details, is so important! In this course, students will activate the right side of the brain by drawing animals upside-down. And no, we won't be hanging upside down as we are drawing, although that would be fun! We will be using a different reference picture of a simple, cartoon style animal...
Students will improve their ability to identify lines and shapes in a picture and draw these details in their own artwork.
Supplies Needed: -A printed copy of the picture we will be drawing that week, which will be attached to the classroom page -Pencil -Eraser -Ruler -A blank piece of paper to draw on, and two other pieces of paper to cover parts of the reference picture and our drawing. All paper should be the same size.
