20 live meetings

2-4 hours per week. Optional homework will be offered in the form of past paper tests as well as additional textbook exercises and exam-style questions based on the individual learner's needs. For learners requiring support with other topics, homework exercises and appropriate resource links can also be offered.Assessment
Past papers offered can be returned to me for checking and additional material for highlighted areas for improvement can be provided.Class Experience
A starting activity will be displayed on the screen for learners to start on as soon as they arrive to class. Once we are all present we will work through SAT Math questions in line with College Board specifications. I will offer concrete examples, scaffolding learners to move onto independent work and extension tasks to further deepen their understanding. I aim to give clear and concise instruction so learners can maximise their participation and optimise the learning time available to them. Learners are invited to share their prior knowledge, questions and answers to promote verbal reasoning and interact with myself as well as each other. A variety of activities will be offered in class, ranging from textbook exercises, additional exam-style questions, Q&A, whiteboard work as well as quizzes and games. Guiding learners through topic areas they may struggle with through sound questioning is one of my particular strengths. I am professional, friendly and approachable, passionate about Math and young people reaching their full potential.

Supply List
Basic stationery: pencil, pen, paper/exercise book, calculator. Optional: A mini whiteboard, markers and cloth would be very useful to share working out and thought processes in the camera throughout lessons.
