Each meeting, students will be presented a new science experiment or design challenge to work on in class together. Students will be shown the final product, the materials needed, and discuss ideas for how they will accomplish the task. Then students will go off to work! At the end of class, students will have the opportunity to share what they have created with the rest of the group and share what they have learned. Winter Schedule: Week of 12/19/21: Oobleck Week of 12/26/21: Play...
Students will improve their ability to follow the scientific method (make observations, ask questions, perform an experiment, report findings, and share with others). Students will practice creative problem-solving skills.

Parent help will be needed for play dough - boiling water, and possibly other days in which scissors can be used (Marble run, bubble blower, egg drop device, straw tower, straw plane, and balloon-powered car) It is possible to do all of these activities without scissors or boiling water, but I provide the option on these days so students have more creative freedom with the supplies.
*I am currently not teaching on Outschool, but I do check messages.* I teach all domains of science classes including Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth and Space Science. I enjoy incorporating engineering and STEM projects as I can in...
