Do you love unicorns and dancing? Join me as we learn some ballet moves and pretend we are unicorns! Dancers will learn age-appropriate foundational ballet technique, unicorn themed movements and play some fun dance games.

No previous dancing experience is required. Please wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle nearby during the class. Your child can dress up for the class if they like and bring along any unicorn toys!

// CLASS STRUCTURE //
We will start class with short introductions and your dancer can choose the color for their imaginary unicorn horn. Then, dancers can follow along as we do a warm up with magical creature themed stretches to prepare our bodies for dancing.

Next, we will practice 1st and 2nd positions, plies and saute jumps in the center.

For the across the floor portion of the class, dancers will learn dynamic ballet movements and practice balancing as part of the “Unicorn Challenge.” This challenge also includes counting practice. Dancers will have the opportunity to show me their favorite movement.

We will finish the class with some dance games to improve dancers' musicality & balance and have fun together!

At the end of the class if there is time, we will search the unicorn forest for unicorns and cast a spell to go home.

**Your child can color in the attached printable coloring sheet before or after class.**

// MUTING //
I will mute your child when music is playing so there is no strange audio feedback. I may need to mute your learner at other times if there is any background noise.

Your child can unmute themself to ask questions at the start and end of the class or during water breaks. Please be aware that they may need some help. They will have to accept the “unmute” on their screen.

//ON SCREEN SAFETY//
Only the registered learner is allowed to be on screen as per the Outschool safety policy. Caregivers, older/younger siblings and adults should try to stay off the screen as much as possible for the learners’ safety. If you need to help your child with the mute or unmute button, please try to stay off to the side. 

//SIBLINGS//
Enrolled siblings are allowed to share a screen as long as they are both registered for the class in order to be fair to the other learners.

//REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS//
This class follows Outschool's limited refund policy: "Full refund within 24 hours of purchase or up to a week in advance of the class." 

If you need to transfer, please send me a transfer request at least 24 hours BEFORE the class starts and I will do my best to accommodate it.
