The structure of the class will be pre-arranged with the parent(s) hosting the party or event. It can include cake-cutting, birthday wishes, singing, etc. For the Lego building portion, generally I will present a theme and a challenge (space, futuristic vehicles, sci-fi robots, treasure hunt, rescue mission, military, superheroes etc.) and assign a challenge for the kids to get creative and build the ultimate robot, creature or machine.

While students are building, I will be guiding them to contemplate various ways to approach the task by giving them ideas to consider in order to optimize their creations, think about functionality, overcome obstacles and sharpen their critical thinking.  

Everyone will have a chance to show off their creation and explain how it solves the given challenge. The overall aim of this party is to have fun, celebrate and inspire each other while developing and encouraging creative thinking.
