Problem solving skills: being able to encounter a fresh problem and having the confidence and skills to figure it out.
Teamwork: being able to deliberate with peers on what the best solution is in a way that comes up with the best solution.
Reflection: being able to reflect on what went well and what went wrong after tackling a problem.

Problem solving skills have served me well throughout my career as a product manager in tech, business consultant, and founder. I owe a lot of it to having thought strategically about video games very early on in life - I've been Masters in Team Fight Tactics and other strategy games. 

I've seen video games being increasingly used as job assessments too. The biggest example would be McKinsey's new problem solving game that they use in between the resume screen and the first interview. These games are designed to assess thinking. It was a breeze when I went through it because the games were an ecosystem builder and a tower defense game, both of which I already understood the underlying principles of.
