Welcome to Construction Preschool! In this 4-week flexible course we will learn through a fun construction theme. Each week will have a specific focus. The weekly activities will include a variety of early literacy skills, early math skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, crafts, songs, and more! All material is created with preschool curriculum standards in mind. During our last week students will participate in a stem activity.

This class is based on my popular thematic preschool units! 

HOW WILL MY STUDENT LEARN?
Your preschooler will complete weekly activities using Nearpod, printable materials along with video lessons. Every Monday you will receive a handout of the weekly lesson plan, printable materials, Nearpod links, and teacher videos. I treat my teacher videos like a live class. This means I am doing every activity, pausing for participation, and encouraging your learner during the lesson. The goal is for your learner to be able to watch the teacher videos without additional help from an adult. 

Even though we do not have live sessions you can still expect plenty of interaction! Throughout the week we will communicate through the classroom page. Everyone will participate and interact with one another. Every week we will do a question of the week. The question of the week will be posted on Wednesdays.

If your learner is struggling or needs extra support please let me know and I will work with you! This class is for all abilities and skill levels. Flexible courses are great for busy families and littler learners. You are able to complete the lessons when your preschooler is ready to learn. This is a great option for someone who is shy or can easily be distracted by a live session.

I provide teacher videos of individual activities in hope that your learner can do these activities with minimal assistance.

WHAT IS NEARPOD? 
-Nearpod is an interactive platform that allows teacher to create digital interactive lessons. Parents or guardians do not have to create an account for Nearpod and it is free for you to use. You are able to access the lessons with a personal link that I will provide.
