Do you want your child to learn how to spell? Well, this Sonic themed class is for you! Students will be able to learn various words each class with a theme based on a Sonic character or level. The student will analyze an image with a word next to it. The student will have the opportunity to spell the word various times while looking at it. This gives the student the opportunity to process the word. Afterwards, the word will be taken off the screen and the student will be asked to spell the word without it being shown. We will do this until we get through all the words from that day. The students will then be quizzed at the end of class and asked to write down the words of the day. After the quiz, the students will be shown the answer and they will have the opportunity to make corrections. Students will also be guided throughout the class to ensure that they develop the appropriate skills to improve their spelling.
This class is recommended for students who have a general foundation of reading and writing. The spelling is Beginner level for students starting to learn how to spell. If you have a *specific* spelling level you would like catered to your child I do offer private one-on-one classes for $30.
