Learners will learn colors in German and form a positive association with the language. This class sets a foundation and desire for future learning.

My native language is English—I learned German from my German mother and took German in school all the way through to earning my B.A. in German. I even worked for a year as an intern in the German Bundestag, in an environment of total language immersion. I have a deep respect and appreciation for the German language, which I will pass on to your learner in my class!

There is a one-page worksheet provided for each meeting. Learners are asked to color in a word and picture, then draw a picture using the day's color. Then, they find an object of that color and present it to a grownup, pet, or stuffed animal.
