Homework
1-2 hours per week. After each class, students will be assigned to complete a specific number of pages from the course book. It will not be checked for correctness, but if students have problems they will be able to take a screenshot of their screen and send it to me for additional assistance.
Assessment
Assessments will be done in class by means of Zoom polls. Students will not be required to take them, but they may help students identify areas they need to focus on.

Class Experience

Intermediate Level
Davinci Resolve is the industry-standard when it comes to video editing and color grading. Used by professional studios and indie filmmakers, this course will introduce you to all the features of this powerful (and free) software. No previous background in video editing is required. This is an in-depth, immersive 5 month course designed to teach you the complete fundamentals of video editing. You will also have the option to get certified from Davinci Resolve at the end of the course!



It is strongly encouraged that you have TWO monitors, this way as I teach the course you can follow along with me on one monitor and repeat the same actions on the other.



The course is split up into 5, one-month sections - Video editing 101 -105. They are designed to be taken in order, you must have completed the previous course to advance to the next one.
