In this class, we will fine-tune pronunciation of the letters in Spanish, also spending time identifying the differences between English and Spanish letters. Extra time and assistance will be given to identify key characteristics of Spanish phonics and pronunciation, and its subtle differences from English phonetics and pronunciation patterns. We will then take this knowledge and apply it to learning the names of many African countries, while also learning to identify their corresponding flags and geography. No prior knowledge is required!
学習到達目標
Students will fine-tune their pronunciation in Spanish while deepening their connection to the Spanish phonetic system. They will also walk away with a new vocabulary of African countries in Spanish, which they can use to talk about geography, social studies or themes related to Africa when using their new language. Finally, the ability to recognize a handful of new world flags from the continent of Africa will also be added to their skill set.
