Students will leave this class with more confidence in 1st conjugation verb forms, 1st declension nouns and adjectives, and a better understanding of how to construct/deconstruct Latin sentences. They will realize they recognize many of the words from the previous lessons and can sight read a few Latin sentences. 

I have a BA and MA in foreign language (Latin and German) and history. I have taught and/or tutored in these areas from middle school level to university level. I have also traveled and studied in Italy in order to research and translate during my undergraduate studies.

Make vocabulary (verb, noun, adjective, etc) charts in your notebook. This is for your benefit and not to be turned in, though I am thrilled when you show it to me in class. For this class, there is a take home quiz.  You may return it via the same Outschool message from which you received it.  You are allowed to use any of the resources you have to complete the quiz: class PDFs, your notebook, your class handouts, Latin Wiktionary, etc.

I create the class content, but draw from previous Latin studies and texts, such as Wheelock 7th edition, Cambridge 1, Oxford Latin Dictionary, Minimus 1, and Getting Started with Latin.
