Does your learner love to play Kahoot games? In this super fun class, your learner will review basic parts of speech while playing a Kahoot game! This class will follow the 1st grade standards for grammar and language arts. This will be a shared slide show from my screen. We will briefly review nouns, verbs, adjectives and pronouns and then play a Kahoot game to test our knowledge. The Kahoot game will be the main part of our class! This is perfect for learners who love to play games and is such a fun way to learn! Most of these Kahoot questions will be sentences and the learner will pick out the correct part of speech. Some questions will also be true/false. There will be colorful, engaging pictures on each question. Your learner will need a separate device to play Kahoot - like an Ipad or an Iphone. The website to log on to Kahoot is www.kahoot.it. I will give you the game pin when the class starts. Kahoot is such a fun and engaging way to learn! This is a great way to review or reinforce the basic parts of speech. I look forward to seeing your learner in class!

Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification, I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes.
