Welcome to the Junk Journal Club, a fun and imaginative space where kids aged 10-14 can explore the art of journaling with a twist! In this weekly 45-minute club, young creatives will transform everyday materials into personalized journal pages and collages. As a passionate sticker and journal enthusiast, I’m excited to guide your child through this artistic journey, combining creativity and sustainability with a love for all things journaling.

✏️ What we'll cover:
> Creative Journaling Techniques: Learn how to turn scraps, stickers, washi tape, photos, and more into beautiful journal entries.
> Collage Making: Discover the art of collage, using materials like newspapers and magazines to craft unique visual stories.
> Decorative Elements: Explore ways to enhance journal pages with decorative elements such as drawings, cut-outs, and layered designs.
> Personal Expression: Develop skills in personal storytelling through art, using your journal as a canvas for self-expression.

🍁 Topics & Themes:
Introduction to Junk Journaling: Basics of materials, tools, and setting up a junk journal.
Theme Exploration: Different themes each week, such as “Nature”, “Dreams”, or “Adventure”.
Collage Techniques: Techniques for layering, arranging, and gluing materials.
Mixed Media Art: Combining different media (paint, ink, stickers) for added texture and interest.
Expressive Journaling: Prompts and activities to inspire creativity and personal expression.

⏰ Club structure:
> Introduction (~5 mins): Warm-up and overview of the week's theme.
> Demo & Hands-on crafting (~30 mins): I’ll demonstrate techniques and ideas for the session’s project, and kids will work on their journal pages or collages, with live guidance and support from me.
> Sharing and Feedback (~10 minutes): Time for kids to share their creations, give and receive feedback, and discuss their experiences.

🩵 Teaching style:
My teaching approach is hands-on, interactive, and supportive. I believe in fostering a relaxed and open environment where creativity can flourish. Each session is structured to balance guided instruction with plenty of time for independent exploration. I encourage kids to express themselves freely, offering tips and encouragement along the way.

🧠 Learner Interaction:
Live Demonstrations: I will provide live demos to introduce new techniques and ideas.
Real-time Guidance: As kids work on their projects, I’ll be available for live feedback and assistance.
Interactive Discussions: We’ll have discussions about the day’s theme, sharing thoughts and ideas.
Creative Show-and-Tell: Each session ends with a show-and-tell, allowing kids to share their work and celebrate each other’s creativity.
