In this four-part FLEX class, students will learn how to make four muffin recipes from scratch to share with family and friends. This class will be a combination of PowerPoint, demonstration, discussion (in the Outschool classroom) and will incorporate video to present the material. Students along with a trusted adult, can participate along as the teacher leads them through the steps of the recipe. At the end of the classes, students will: -be able to identify between a tablespoon and a teaspoon -be able to identify four common baking terms -be able to recall six ways to stay safe in the kitchen -be able to demonstrate the creation of homemade buttermilk
