Students in this one-time presentation skills course will be assessed on their ability to deliver a confident and engaging presentation to their peers. The assessment will be based on a rubric that evaluates the following criteria: Organization: The ability to structure the presentation in a clear and logical manner, with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. Content: The ability to develop interesting and relevant ideas that are appropriate for the audience, and support them with examples and evidence. Engagement: The ability to connect with the audience and maintain their interest throughout the presentation, through the use of humor, storytelling, and other engaging techniques. The rubric will be shared with students at the beginning of the class to provide clear expectations for assessment, and students will have the opportunity to practice their skills throughout the class before delivering their final presentation for assessment.
