How far away is the moon? What is the moon made of? Is there weather on the moon? Learn interesting facts and information about the moon and explore the phases of the moon visible to us here on Earth. Students will learn how light creates those phases, how to determine which phase the moon is in, and tricks for remembering what each phases is. They will recreate the phases of the moon using cookies and will make their very own moon phase slider. A fun edible look at scientific facts for students who are interested in our only natural satellite!
