Students will study 1 of the main writing systems of Japanese - Katakana.
Students will be familiarized with Japanese Katakana vocabulary words.
Students will write their name in Japanese Katakana.
Students will start their journey of learning Japanese in a fun and exciting way!

Teacher Lynn (リン 先生) completed her Master’s degree in Oita, Japan. She was a teaching assistant for Japanese middle school, high school, and university in-person classes in Japan. She has been living in Japan for 6 years (since 2017). Teacher Lynn not only intensely studied the Japanese language, but fell in love with Japanese culture and discovered the passion for sharing such a beautiful language with students. She has been a private Japanese online tutor for over 3 years..

Homework worksheets will be provided on the Outschool platform classroom forum for students to practice Hiragana writing and reading individually. 

** Homework completion is not required, but recommended for the Japanese learning experience.
