このクラスで学べること

英語レベル - 不明
米国の学年 Kindergarten - 1
Are you a young scientist in the making? In this camp, learners will undertake fun, hands-on experiments and investigations in order to explore a variety of science topics. They will be encouraged to interact with each other, make observations, ask questions and engage their curiosity. I am an elementary school teacher and experienced summer camp leader, passionate about engaging children in the learning process.

Day 1 - Human Body:
On the first day of camp, young scientists will learn all about the amazing features of the human body. They will play games to explore what they know, create a model of human blood, get their hands messy learning about digestion, and design a skeleton.

Day 2 - Weather:
On the second day of camp, young scientists will explore wild weather by creating a tornado and a rain cloud in a jar, competing in a rain race, and designing a kite.

Day 3 - Animal Adaptations:
On the third day of camp, young scientists will discover how animals can survive in their environments by playing a habitat game, conducting an experiment about duck feathers, exploring blubber, investigating camouflage and putting themselves in the role of a bird.

Day 4 - Chemistry:
On the fourth day of camp, young scientists will take their first look at chemistry by making an explosion, playing with oobleck, creating a lava lamp and designing tie dye art.
