What will be taught? This class is designed for students interested in the Greek school experience in a private setting. "Introduction to Modern Greek" is the first level in a six-level curriculum. Each level has 9 units and based on age, students get to learn the Greek language as if they were attending Greek school. Each lesson includes reading, grammar, math, and vocabulary. I am a Greek native, fluent in Modern Greek, and trained in the Greek educational system. I immigrated to the USA in 2007 and became a citizen in 2019. I have two Bachelor of Arts and an MFA from American private universities. I speak English fluently and can answer any questions a student might have on the coursework material. I have designed an extensive, 7 Level curriculum based on the highest standards of education used in "Greek as a Second Language" as well as "Greek as a Foreign Language" programs.
A small, 8x10 whiteboard and marker, to help the student practice their writing skills in the classroom. A whiteboard will help them write big letters, easily visible to the camera. *Can be found at any Dollar Store or Amazon.com *It is advised that students add the Greek keyboard to their computer device. A keyboard overlay is also helpful when trying to type so they know where the Greek letters are on their keyboard. *Can be found on Amazon starting at $2.50
