We will explore the GarageBand application, available on apple devices specifically, how to create and record your own music and share. How to start a new project and the different operations to record, save, and share music. We will cover basic drums and beat generation - there are several different ways to set up your drum or rhythm tracks. We will also look at bass lines, and other instruments. We will cover keyboards, synths, and samplers and if we have time, recording instruments and vocals live. We will look at how to share your files and import into video projects.

Students will learn about creating music using a very intuitive program that lends itself to an easy beginning as well as more advanced users.
